Common faults and troubleshooting methods of jaw crusher

Classification:


Sudden engine shutdown

The reason:
1) The discharge port is blocked, resulting in full of blocked material;
2) The triangle belt that drives the groove wheel to rotate is too loose, causing the belt to slip;
3) The eccentric shaft tightening bushing is loose, resulting in no gap on both sides of the bearing seat of the frame, so that the eccentric shaft is stuck and cannot be rotated;
4) The voltage of the working site is too low, and the main engine is unable to break after encountering aniseed;
5) Bearing damage.
Elimination method:
1) Remove the blockage at the discharge port to ensure smooth discharge;
2) Tighten or replace the triangle belt;
3) Reinstall or replace the tight bushing;
4) Adjust the voltage of the working site to meet the requirements of the working voltage of the host;
5) Replace the bearing.

 

The main machine's groove wheel and moving jaw operate normally, but the crushing work stops.

The reason:
1) The tension spring is broken;
2) the tie rod is broken;
3) The bracket falls off or breaks.
Elimination method:
1) Replace the tension spring;
2) Replace the tie rod;
3) Reinstall or replace the bracket.

 


Movement and fixed jaw plate work when pulsating or banging.

The reason:
1) The fastening bolt of the jaw plate is loose or fallen;
2) The discharge port is too small, and the bottom of the two jaw plates collide with each other.
Elimination method:
1) Tighten or fit the bolts;
2) Adjust the discharge port to ensure the correct gap between the two jaw plates.

 

The bracket is broken.

The reason:
1) The main machine overload or larger than the size of the feed port into the material;
2) There are non-broken materials into the crushing chamber;
3) There is no parallel between the elbow plate and the elbow pad, and there is deflection;
4) The casting has more serious casting defects.
Elimination method:
1) Replace the bracket and control the feed particle size, and prevent the host overload;
2) Replace the elbow plate and take measures to prevent non-broken materials from entering the crushing chamber;
3) Replace the elbow plate and replace the worn elbow pad, and correctly install the elbow plate;
4) Replace the qualified bracket.

 

Adjust the seat break.

The reason:
1) The elbow plate and elbow pad are purchased or restructured by themselves, which do not meet the design requirements of the Oems;
2) the fixing bolt of the adjusting seat is loose;
3) The adjusting seat has serious casting defects or welding defects.
Elimination method:
1) Replace the adjusting seat and replace the original elbow plate and elbow pad of the assembly plant;
2) Replace the adjusting seat and tighten the adjusting seat bolt;
3) Replace the adjusting seat.

 

Eccentric shaft is bent or broken.

The reason:
1) Rollover occurs during the hoisting process of the main machine, so that the eccentric shaft is bent by force on one side;
2) The hardness of the broken material exceeds the product instruction manual;
3) Long-term super negative operation of the main engine;
4) The elbow plate does not meet the standard, and the non-broken material plays a self-breaking protection role when entering the crushing chamber;
5) Improper heat treatment of eccentric shaft, stress concentration, resulting in short-term fracture.
Elimination method:
1) Replace the new eccentric shaft and lift the main machine correctly;
2) Replace the new eccentric shaft, select the appropriate crusher according to the compressive strength of the crushing material; 3) Replace the new eccentric shaft, adjust the working load or replace the suitable crusher;
4) Replace the new eccentric shaft, do not use the elbow plate, elbow pad that does not conform to the design standard;
5) Replace the new eccentric shaft and use the eccentric shaft qualified by heat treatment.

 

Jaw crushing mechanical jaw fracture.

The reason:
1) Casting has serious defects such as dense porosity;
2) The use of unqualified toggle plate, toggle pad, crusher in the strong impact, the toggle plate does not occur self-breaking protection;
3) The moving jaw is displaced in the frame, and the bottom of one end collides with the side protection plate of the frame;
4) the tension of the rod spring is not replaced in time after failure;
5) The discharge port is smaller than the specified limit;
6) The feeding position is wrong, and the Angle of deviation to a certain end or the lower hopper is too steep, so that the material directly impacts the jaw head.
Elimination method:
1) Replace the jaw.
2) Replace the jaw. At the same time, replace the original elbow plate and elbow pad produced by the main engine factory;
3) Replace the jaw. At the same time, the eccentric shaft, bearing, tight bushing and moving jaw are properly assembled, and the damaged parts are replaced.
4) Replace the jaw. At the same time, replace the tie rod spring;
5) Replace the jaw. At the same time adjust the discharge port as required;
6) Replace the jaw. At the same time, the feed hopper is added to ensure that the material is even and smooth, and is divided from the middle to the two sides.

 

The flying-slot wheel oscillates axially.

The reason:
1) The hole, flat key or shaft of the flying slot wheel are worn and loose;
2) The stone is rolled into the inside of the wheel, causing the shell of the fluted wheel to crack;
3) Casting defects;
4) The fly-slot wheel tightening sleeve is loose.
Elimination method:
1) Flat key wear, replace the flat key, or replace the eccentric shaft or fly slot wheel;
2) Add a flying-wheel shield and replace the eccentric shaft or flying-wheel;
3) Replace the eccentric shaft or groove wheel. 4) Tighten the tightening sleeve again.

 

The rack is cracked.

1) Casting defects or welding quality defects;
2) The use of unqualified toggle plate, toggle pad, crusher in the strong impact, the toggle plate does not occur self-breaking protection, causing the frame to crack;
3) The fixed jaw plate is not fixed, and it moves up and down for a long time, hitting the tooth plate of the front wall of the frame;
4) The stiffness difference of the base of the main engine foot is abnormal or collapsed, and the frame beats;
5) The two bolts on the bearing cover of the frame are loose;
6) Fixed and movable jaw plates continue to be used after tooth shape wear;
7) Due to the damage of the eccentric shaft and pin or the loose expansion sleeve, the direction of the flying fluted wheel counterweight block is misplaced.
Elimination method:
1) Remove the original crack defects, weld and correct, and replace the new frame if necessary;
2) Repair or replace the new frame, and replace the original elbow plate and elbow pad produced by the main engine factory;
3) Repair or replace the new frame, and tighten the fixed tooth plate bolts;
4) Repair or replace the new jaw crusher frame, and tighten the frame foot bolt, correct the level, strengthen the foundation;
5) Repair or replace the new frame, and tighten the two bolts on the bearing cover;
6) Repair or replace the new frame, and replace the jaw plate in time after wear;
7) Repair or replace the new frame, and change the pin shaft or adjust the direction of the eccentric block, and tighten the expansion sleeve.

 

The rack is bouncing badly.

The reason:
1) Anchor bolt is loose or broken;
2) The position of the weight block of the flying and grooving wheels deviates;
3) The main engine foundation is not stable, without vibration isolation measures.
Elimination method:
1) Tighten the anchor bolt or replace the broken bolt;
2) Remove the end cover of the flying-wheel shaft, loosen the bolts of the flying-wheel tightening sleeve, adjust the position of the flying-wheel balancing weight, and then tighten the bolts of the tightening sleeve;
3) Strengthen the foundation, add sleeper or rubber, etc
